What is the Green your MBA Schedule?

The program meets every other Saturday from 8am-5pm and lasts approximately 7 months.

What is the profile of the ideal candidate for the program?

The ideal candidate is in a position to leverage positive change in her/his organization and is aware of the urgency to do so. Graduates of the program have included C-level executives, aspiring entrepreneurs, and non-profit executives.

Is an MBA a prerequisite for the program?

The program was developed for professionals with substantial business experience and although an MBA is not absolutely required, applicants should be well experienced.

How many hours of out-of-class time will the program require?

The certificate program curriculum is rigorous and will require 10 hours per week to fulfill the out-of-class study and reading requirements in order to maximize students’ learning.

Can I miss one of the program delivery days?

The Executive Certificate curriculum is extremely condensed and missing class days should be avoided. Cohort participants develop quite a supportive community and help one another stay current in the program.

Is there an online feature?

There is an online community for the Green your MBA where class information is posted and cohort participants share information and ideas. Currently all courses are delivered in person; the cohort convenes every other Saturday on campus and it is common participants to commit to substantial commutes to attend twice a month.

What is required to apply for the program?

Applicants are required to submit the following documents for program registration:
  1. Candidate’s Personal Statement
  2. Completed Registration Form with tuition payment
  3. MBA Transcript or a petition to waiver
  4. Candidate’s Curriculum Vitae or current Resume

How much is tuition for the certificate program?

The cost of the program is $10,000. The Sustainable Enterprise Executive Certificate's curriculum has been synthesized from the strongest and most transformative elements of the Green MBA® curriculum, the first accredited MBA Program in Sustainable Enterprise offered in the nation.

Are there any other costs for the program?

The only additional program cost is approximately $350.00 for the purchase of required texts and course readers.

Is there financial aid available?

Professional Certificate programs are non-degree and therefore ineligible for academic scholarships or loans. Participants in need of financial assistance are encouraged to secure private funding. A program payment plan is available.
